VIDEO: Nairo Quintana, Tao Geoghegan Hart, Damiano Caruso and more involved in mass crash at the 2024 Vuelta a Burgos

The second stage of the 2024 Vuelta a Burgos was marked by a massive crash with just over 20 kilometres to the finish line.
Among others, Nairo Quintana was involved, although he soon got up a few minutes later and got back on his bike to finish. Sadly, this was not the case for other riders who had to abandon. Felix Engelhardt, Damiano Caruso, Enzo Paleni, Tao Geoghegan Hart, Patrick Gamper, Valentin Paret-Peintre, Simon Carr, Mika Heming, Marius Mayrhofer and James Shaw are the ten riders who went down alongside Quintana. Among them, Caruso, Shaw, Heming and Geoghegan Hart failed to finish and have seen their chances of finishing the race blown to pieces.
