The entire point Horner is trying to make is power to weight ratio matters regardless of your size and understanding that should drive your tactics. If you have better Power to Weight you can have your team pull you to the last climb and attack. If not, you have to use your team to attack and wear your opponent down. This is exactly what Visma tried to do in the mens race but failed to wear Pogi down. His point is FDJ and other teams tactics sucked.

I agree, this article is silly. Pogacar won that TdF because he was stronger than Roglic on the time trial not because he was unknown. Each rider has their own strengths and ride to those. Each of the classics and monuments have their own unique features that the riders must strategize.
