Even if someone has 2-3 mins advantage in the first 19 stages, he really can get burnt the next day. So it seems we finally get Tour that will be interesting till the very last stage

Mads is a great and honest guy. I also hope he wins more Monuments.

You're probably right about Roubaix, but I still think Pogi will figure something out, just like he did in MSR. But yes, it'll be very tough, maybe never.

Wout had him covered the whole way, and if MVDP hadn't crashed he likely would have as well. That is why as great as he is - and I have him as GOAT, no question - Roubaix will be hard because both those two have to have bad days, crashes, etc. Granted, that's what happened at MSR this year, with the crash taking both of them down at a critical moment. But as long as even one of them is on form and upright, I don't thin Pog can win Roubaix.

100%! Not quite the same level but in a similar vein to Kyrgios at Wimbledon.

Yeah, I was going to say Jonas needs to be on this list as all 5 could beat him.

I hope Mads gets his monument soon. reading this convinces me that Tadej is likely to get a monument sweep. the fact that a power rider like Mads says this tells me it's when, not if. But the biggest "if" with Roubaix is "if" he is able to ride a clean race. He had Wout on the ropes a few times. Wout rode tactically smart and made Tadej do work. If Tadej had a bit more he would have won it this year as it would not have gone to a sprint.
