It felt as if he gave up pedaling on the last meters from the finish line, therefore missing the podium

Watched it live on Spanish tv, what a great race !! I thought Jayco would take final control but the Rockets team was very committed !!

It was a very nice win for the 'Rockets', and great to see Dylan Groenewegen on the top step again.

Just simply a masterclass, every race this year, a masterclass of how cx should be ridden. Even yesterday, nobody else could have done that with tow punctures in one race.

Thibau has had a brilliant season, if anything in my humble opinion, he lacks the maturity that has seen MVDP do his thing on the CX circuit for so long that its second nature he finds that quickly or Del Grosso will be ahead of him

Transposing your own feelings onto a different generation doesn’t work. They certainly won’t be feeling pressured by data work which every young person and amateur has grown up with. The ones suffering are probably the generation that had to go through the changes. Plenty of youngsters are riding anything but robotically.

Correct, though any defective device might become hard to replace. Given Visma’s finances, they’d have no problem employing one of the out-of-work engineers for a while for support services. I assume someone thought of that?

Well, those arguments have just been Chrissified. Much as I like him, Primoz is at best fighting for a very crowded, disputed and precarious 4th and that’s only in tours / grand tours. Used to be 2nd, unlucky not to have been best longer, perhaps coming to cycling too late. Hope he can take advantage of the chance he’s been given which in no way indicates anyone is avoiding a challenge. Winning things the most important objective of any team and you don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Ok, not a shark but like I said, what’s the point to worry about cows in India preventing races from becoming popular :-) In fact, in today’s world, such things are actually probably going to help attract viewers. Edit (and I almost missed the dingoe polemic)
