Not being seen in the peloton since the 2023 World Championships in Glasgow,
Team Visma | Lease a Bike's Michel Hessman is keeping fit and active in his absence from the World Tour.
A controversial absence, the 23-year-old German is currently awaiting a verdict after testing positive for a diuretic during the 2023 Giro d'Italia, something Team Visma | Lease a Bike boss,
Richard Plugge previously insisted “It appears to have been a contamination," when discussing the case back in January on the RadioCycling podcast.
Hessman though is clearly in incredibly good shape, as he posted a half marathon to his Strava account in the rapid time of 1h 24m with a blistering average speed of 3:47 per kilometre, as you can see for yourself down below!
And speaking of half, or full marathon runners, why they are calling 1:24 [one hr and 24 mins] as "impressive" while it is only respectable [time for either half or full marathon]. Sub 65 mins time would been even better [finish time than 1 hr and 24 mins].
Even an Iron Man triathlon champions can do a sub 65-70 mins time rasilly
And speaking runners, cycling and whatever how much this website get paid for these nonsense clickbaits and deluded interviews?
Someone should have reminding him of some basic stuff, like Zielenskyi is a step closer to Lukashenko, Putin and Orban, on steroid. And he is also acting like them.
Not bothered of supporting Ukrainian atheletes for speaking like politicians, and their Russo-Belarusians phobias. Glad I did not see any riders representing Ukraine so far. They are retards. If those Ukrainians struggles for form or confidence, it ain't my problem
Soeaking of runners, how much did the website get paid to plaster all the pages with videos of Coe’s growing head?
Somebody should remind him of a few basics, like Orban is one step away from Putin, if you’re going to become all chummy chummy with the likes of such, you lose all my past (very old) respect.
Cycling news sites really need to better educate themselves on running. While 1:24 is a respectable time, it's hardly blistering. I've run 3 min faster in my late 40's. Sub 70 min would be much more impressive.
The men's WR is 57:31.
Tom Dumoulin, Remco Evenepoel, Thomas Voeckler all ran much faster.
Jalabert, Armstrong, Olano, a few others and maybe even Adam Yates ran at least as fast but for twice the distance.
Michael Woods ran a sub 4m mile.
I had started a long list but the page refreshed :-(
