Lipo didn't really lose anything. Going all out - he'd likely be second behind Pogi in GC. Dodging the wind behind others - still second on GC. It also matters little if he is on Pogi's blacklist. Lipo is a GC rider. Pogi's never going to let another GC rider (blacklist or not) beat him in a stage if he can do anything about it. The last time Pogi lost time to a GC rival was the first ITT in the tour last year (RE), and before that Stage 11 in 2024 (JV)29-04-2026 23:28

Usually not to pull. But there will be circumstances where it makes sense to collaborate with the world champion.29-04-2026 20:37

100%. Peak Remco is pretty amazing when it happens. Albeit a bit unpredictable to when it happens. While there is still a gap to Pogi there's also a big gap between Remco and most of the rest of the peloton. How many riders have won Road and TT world championships plus Olympic gold in road race and TT? It's a list of one rider.29-04-2026 18:13

I wonder what happens to mou's psyche if he is blocked from insulting RE and slavishly fanboying for Tadej. I suspect it ain't pretty29-04-2026 18:01

I don’t think he’s going to retire in shame. He’s currently somewhere between 5 and 20th best cyclist in the world27-04-2026 03:43
