"Nothing suspicious" found with Miguel Ángel López regarding drug trafficking case

Miguel Ángel López has found himself involved in a drug trafficking case, however with unknown consequences. Eurosport ES have reported that the Colombian had a routine control with no adverse findings.
The civil guard has confirmed that the Astana Qazaqstan Team rider was not detained and nothing suspicious was found after his luggage was search at the Madrid Barajas airport. He was suspended this morning by the team until the circumstances of the case are clarified.
López' lawyers have stated that the Colombian "flatly denies having any relationship/participation in any criminal act related to the distribution of unauthorized medicines or any other product referred to in the news published yesterday."
