Yesterday, while watching the race, I thought, "UAE will surely do everything possible to recruit him". I hope they don't succeed; it's really fun to have a top-level rival against Tadej.08-03-2026 12:07

"GraZIE" not gracias, it's not spanish :-). Personally, I'm Italian and I love Tadej from the Giro della Lunigiana, when he was a 16-17 y.o. boy, tiny, smiling, competing with such a big bicycle. Slovenian cycling teams usually compete in northern Italy as if they were Italian teams. We know (and admire) Tadej for a long time, probably much earlier than the rest of the countries. He was born a few kilometers beyond the border, but he, Mohoric (adorable), Primoz, Tratnik are perceived as "ours" (a little bit).08-03-2026 09:58

Wout is an honorable person, a great champion, so different from certain individuals that abound on the internet, plenty of frustration or resentment, always despising, insinuating doping or mechanical doping or .... Wout, who is in the professional cycling world, knows perfectly well that this is NOW impossible: Tadej is simply an extraordinary athlete. PD: good and honest people like Wout deserve much better luck. I hope you don't have any problems and arrive at Milan-San Remo in top shape! My family and I will be waiting for you on Via Roma. I hope you finish in the top 3!07-03-2026 17:36

yeah, reveal his nature: ironic, funny, lighthearted. Obviously he was joking.06-03-2026 17:17

oh! Maumu spirit, get out of me! I'm going to the exorcist with Wout, maybe he could give us two-for-one offer. :-)05-03-2026 19:46

You never know... Pogi could crash, could have a bad day... And Strade Bianche is more suitable to Matthieu than L-B-L: fewer climbing meters and sectors of gravel where MvdP is a master, very skilled at riding the bike.05-03-2026 18:16

I don't think so; in 2024 MvdP was on the podium in L-B-L (similar or more amount of climbing, about 4000 m), and certainly Mathieu has no problem with gravel sectors.05-03-2026 11:45

Wout deservedly won; he was simply the best. But winning or losing, Tadej is always the show. Awesome the Tadej's generosity. He had already won the Tour and could have comfortably settled back in the peloton, finishing the race "bureaucratically." Instead, because he loves cycling so much, he enjoys racing and competing, he gave his best and raced to win, honoring the race and the public.05-03-2026 11:20

Something has to be done about this boy, bad things are always happening to him! Before him, at least 20 cyclists have passed by, and he's the only one who got broken glass and a puncture. Call an exorcist.04-03-2026 08:38

Again Wout?! Before Saturday, go to one of Siena's many churches and take a bath in holy water. I'm not a believer, but it can't hurt him, and you never know if it might help him... (I'm agnostic, it can, it can't, who knows).03-03-2026 17:39
