- If Pog hadn't been so consistently gracious in defeat at the 2023 Tour, I wouldn't be a fan of his. But even after this Paris-Roubais, another publication wrote an article on how Pog simply enjoyed a rare reunion with his family and friends afterwards. I don't agree with his team-mates comments, though, they should rather have apologised for their fiasco.
- French fever
- Anyone but the ego himself 🙏
- They always did
- UAE are starting to sound like sore losers -
- Favourites for the Giro d'italia 2026:
1- Jonas Vingegaard
2- Giulio Pellizzari
3- João Almeida
4- Felix Gall
5- Egan Bernal
- When a racer flats/mechanical/crashes and everyone picking up the pace has been going on forever.
- A fool once said: “I give Almeida five stars on the favorites scale, just like Jonas Vingegaard."
This is the biggest BS I've ever heard. Almeida can only clean the 🐟 bike cleats and say chapeau to him. Let me repeat myself: UAE are a little above average mediocre cycling team without Pogi. If Pogi would be in team Visma, he would be a 6X Tour winner. The only good thing in UAE is a lot of money and Pogi's trainer Javier Sola. We all saw how UAE fvcked up Pogi at Paris-Roubaix.
- There's not an ounce of fat in a professional riders' body, So all that weight advantage translates to muscle strength. When Tadej first won Flanders, he was asked if Paris-Roubaix would be next. He said he'll have to gain 20 lbs more body weight to be competitive. He's not clueless.
- It's actually wiry body, huge legs.. Look at the body weights of the top 15-20 Paris-Roubaix finishers.. Tadej is 66kg, all the rest are 74kg and above. It's a sprinter's classic, perfectly flat. Tell me a rider who weighs below 68 kg who can outsprint Jonathan Milan.. where do sprinters get their power when they stand on the pedals? Why is Jonathan Milan top sprinter? He's 6' 4" and 85 kgs.
