Shirin van Anrooij beats Fem van Empel to secure victory in X2O Trofee Koksijde

Shirin van Anrooij has won the X2O Trofee Koksijde. She beat Fem van Empel to secure her fifth victory of the season.

The beginning was chaotic due to a crash, but the top riders were able to avoid it and continue. Shirin van Anrooij began the race with a strong lead, while Fem van Empel had difficulty in the sand section and took some time to find her rhythm.

Van Anrooij was enjoying a 13-second lead over van Empel. Lucinda Brand and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado were both 30 seconds behind van Empel. It started raining, which made the course muddy and slippery.

Shirin van Anrooij won the race, securing her fifth victory of the season. Fem van Empel came in second place, and Lucinda Brand placed third.
