Quite a surprise, he's been a model Pro and as a nasty Brit I'm rather proud of what he's achieved. I sat watching, absolutely gutted for him on the Finnestre in 2018 but for many of us what he did this year was unexpected but brilliant (despite rooting for Isaac). Chapeau Simon, thanks for giving us something to cheer for, have a great retirement08-01-2026 13:36

Gutted for Wout, if this guy didn't have bad luck he'd have none at all! He really looked good yesterday. Hope he can get back to fitness for the Classics, the classics need Wout.03-01-2026 11:29

You can't consider a season you win two Grand Tours as a team and has 40 victories in the year a failure but you can't help but think they must be disappointed. Most of the wins came from emerging and second tier riders often in lower level stage races and one day races. The teams mega stars fell short and yes that takes the many injuries into account. Teams Like Visma, Ineos etc talk of their seasons in terms of Tour de France success and no matter how well they talk it up, at times I felt them and their tactics utterly inept, even with Tadej struggling in the last week they had nothing to challenge him or UAE other than Wout on Stage 21 but I suspect his entire tour was set up for that one day. I'd give them an 8, could have been better. Thing is .... other than UAE is there any other team scores higher??28-12-2025 13:04

I took two things from this article.... One, the writer has a great imagination, Tadej crashes, yeah and unfortunately Jonas crashes way more and generally with massively more career impacts and Two, it's December and they need something to keep the site running23-12-2025 11:30

Everyone shouts "rider x" is getting better and could beat Pogacar... Tadej is still improving year on year too.....04-12-2025 14:42

Don't find this route particularly inspiring i'm afraid, usually look forward to the Giro route more than the Tour but not this one02-12-2025 14:01
