One of the great favorites to win the Trofeo Pollença, Alex Aranburu, has gone to the ground 33 kilometers from the finish line and has been left without options of victory when he was one of the favorites to get the victory. Bad luck for the Movistar Team rider.
According to the team, the rider from Guipuzcoa was able to rejoin the race and continue, although he was unable to do so due to "significant pain".
