Mark Cavendish will be joining B&B Hotels-KTM next season, and alongside him will follow several fast men, with a priority to build a leadout for him such as Max Richeze and Ramon Sinkeldam, with the goal of riding the Tour de France.
However, as the UCI revealed the list of candidate teams to World Tour and ProTeam status for 2023, the French team was missing. This came as unusual to some, but the team quickly resorted to social media to clear out the possible confusion. "The B&B Hotels-KTM team takes note of it's absence from the provisional list of candidate teams for the UCI ProTeam category for next season, published today by the UCI. This delay is due to the change of legal structure inherent to the evolution of the team for the coming years," they have justified.

The team is set to welcome new sponsors and extra budget in comparison to their 2022 capacities. With a lot of work being done in the background, including signings - none of which have been officially confirmed so far, the team is still working on the logistics of the project, which is also set to have a new name for the 2023 season.
The likes of Cees Bol and Nick Schultz are also set to be announced, likely on the 26th of September. "Aware of the upcoming deadlines set by the UCI for it's registration in the ProTeam category, the team is doing it's utmost to provide the missing documents as soon as possible," the team has concluded.
