PREVIEW | Bredene Koksijde Classic 2024 - Can Arvid de Kleijn continue winning form? Thijssen, Groenewegen and Molano the main competition

On the 15th of March the riders in Belgium will take on another semi-classic that is quite popular every sprint. Although it comes in a busy period, the Bredene Koksijde Classic always delivers action in a race designed for the sprinters. We preview the race ahead.
The 201.5-kilometer race takes place in West-Flanders and early in the day, they face two cobbled sectors and five bergs in fast sequence where attacks or moves in the front can come. In this region wind can always play a big role in the outcome of the race; but most likely neither factor will prevent a sprint from deciding the outcome of the classic.

- If he is going to the Tour, then he should abandon, get some rest, do some altitude training and maybe race the Dauphine before the Tour. Otherwise, he'll be crushed under expectation like Wout did earlier in the spring. I kind of enjoy current generation of cyclists because they know what is important outside of cycling.
