Meweal Girmay, younger brother of Biniam, one of two new signings for Wanty-ReUz-Technord

Wouter Toussaint and Meweal Girmay are the latest additions to Wanty-ReUz-Technord, the continental development team of Intermarché-Wanty. The 19-year-old Toussaint rode for TDT-Unibet Cycling Team last year, the one year younger Meweal Girmay is the younger brother of Biniam Girmay.

Wouter Toussaint was part of the TDT-Unibet Cycling Team last year, but the young Dutchman could not count on a contract extension as the team moved up a division and therefore had to look for elsewhere.

The 18-year-old Meweal Girmay is mostly a blank sheet for European cycling fans as the Eritrean has only two records in UCI riders, both from 2022 National Championships, where fourth place in time trial was the better of his results.
