- Haha yeah it's not forced on the riders at gunpoint ffs. It's Shimano NEUTRAL service. Not Shimano Custom Perfect Bike Service.
- Remind me again what did Tom Danielson ever do in European racing?
- why is this an issue? It's a religion like any other. There are violent people in every religion, there are peaceful people in every religion. Meaning: there are humans in every religion, twisting the words to their needs. When you say "your [sic] kidding" - no, nobody is kidding. For him, it's a meaningful bond with his wife. Who are we to judge that? Should we care? No, we should not. It's a private expression of faith, and that's not for us to say he's kidding. He's not. Get over it.
- sore loser? Have you listened to the guy? If he won everything, he'd be bored. Losing motivates him, and he pushes forward with frustration and desire. It's what makes him so fascinating - he gets mad, and no matter what the race (a Tour winner trying Paris Roubaix? hasn't really happened since the 80s? whatever!), he's there. That's not a sore loser, that's a competitive loser.
- It's his team that is worse. If UAE didn't complain so much then Pogačar's words here would not be negative at all. Gianetti's praise of Wout was only a stepping stone to the usual complaints. Then Morgado did his flat tyre sprint wail. After that Bjerg did his moaning about other teams pushing the pace during the puncture. And then Pollit lamented about how everything was going perfectly... and Vermeersch was all about the radio. And now Pogačar with his complaints on the bike.
When one team collectively does this it is worse than the greater actions of one rider. UAE being sore losers here is worse than Evenepoel's behavior at the Worlds.
- Maybe next time he can just jog instead of taking the "crappy" bike.
- No bike is going to be close to his fitted bike. But better wheels for cobbles is a must.
- Islam your kidding...
