Why should he not have a platform? Regardless of his doping history he still has great insight into racing tactics and the Tour. If the requirement is that no rider who doped in cycling should have a voice in the sport, then we would pretty much be listening to the fans clap on the side of the road instead of commentary.
HIs racing tactics were honed on EPO and blood transfusions so he doesn't know what it's like to win a grand tour without the aid of drug assistance as well as aided by a drug enhanced team and tactics! He's just trying to stay somewhat relevant in his old days when he is being forgotten.
I agree with you up to a certain point and respect your opinion. I just think he should still have a voice.
I agree too, the trouble is that he has a loud mouth to go with it. That said - the folks that run this website know the power of click bait headlines.
