I agree with you up to a certain point and respect your opinion. I just think he should still have a voice.

Why should he not have a platform? Regardless of his doping history he still has great insight into racing tactics and the Tour. If the requirement is that no rider who doped in cycling should have a voice in the sport, then we would pretty much be listening to the fans clap on the side of the road instead of commentary.
