Philippe Gibert has won the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, after saying safe in the final stage of the French stage-race and taking his first stage-race win in over five years. The final day was won by Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux's Gerben Thijssen who took the win in the final sprint.
The Belgian sprinter won the 182-kilometer stage, which was forecasted to end in a bunch sprint. The prediction came to light, with the 23-year old taking his first win with the team as a product of a powerful sprint. He beat Hugo Hofstetter and Lorrenzo Manzin to the line.
