  Yes, he IS arrogant: he still behaves like a football player, doing theater and blaming the others. The way he tried to humiliate Jorgenson in the World championship race (only 3 months ago) was very rude and absolutely unjustified. He had no legs, he couldn't reach Pogacar and arrogantly he wanted to blame the others riders.

  Original thought but unlikely. I think it’s just the least complicated way to say something that will be published. Let me ask you, how many of Bankman-Fried or Madoff’s contemporaries or even associates can you name? Do you really think if Lemond would make a lame (i.e. expected or already heard otherwise) comment about Pantani or Rijs or Ullrich or any other, anyone would publish it, even off-season? That’s how the media system works.

  Most people had an idea after he won the 2001 Tour. Just saying that no one knew is not factual. That's a lot of people, some of whom, top brass, used to ride with Lance at various charity events, not to mention their partnership with Thom Weisel. Pretty much everyone knew about him.

  Well, he obviously knows himself pretty well. Great leap in maturity and so refreshing to hear a guy publicly acknowledging how much he’s learnt from a woman. Many would do well to rethink that. We live in a world full of d*cks and pr*cks and almost every single one had a mother raising him, that raises questions too. Men might hold themselves in check better if they kept some things in mind more often.
