Remco is the favorite. Why? He knows he can't outkick the other two on the big climbs, meaning he has to prepare well for the TTs if he wants to leave with a win of some sort.11-06-2025 03:24

I'm afraid Pedersen has a point, especially seeing Vingegaard almost sprinting to a win on the first stage. I thought his strength was mostly on 1-hour+ steady climbs (and sometimes TTs).11-06-2025 03:16

What is the word "Demanding" doing in the heading of this article? Did I miss something?09-06-2025 14:54

Vingegaard normally only has one goal: TDF I doubt if he'll win Dauphiné.04-06-2025 07:43

I think Del Toro was tired, and he was probably going to lose the Giro anyway on that long climb. But he had the privilege of choosing which one was going to win: Yates or Carapaz. If he followed Yates, Carapaz would get his free ride up, then attack at the end. If he followed Carapaz, Yates was going to run off like he did.04-06-2025 07:29

Simon used to crack big time in an earlier Giro. Maybe he can prevent it this time. But that time he made a very cocky statement before the race, saying something about how his rivals would shit in their pants if they knew how strong he was. But I think he matured and learned from that experience.28-05-2025 06:59

Like a ghost opened every door at the zoo today, all kinds of animals running in every direction. None of this was in my dictionary. The biggest GC guys lost it, some unexpected names showed up with fire in their pants.28-05-2025 06:52

I was rooting for Del Toro from early in the race, but I was also very cautious about placing too much hope for GC on him. He's got a big engine, but he needs to decide very soon if he's committing 100% to GC for the long run, or 100% as puncheur. I think he could become super good at either one.28-05-2025 06:28

Carapaz's 2019 Giro win was partly because Nibali and Roglic were playing cat and mouse with each other. But it's already clear that if he wins this one, he truly deserved it. He looked like a madman escaping a burning prison today. Kudos to him!28-05-2025 06:17

I'm really curious to see how Del Toro will do in the long steep climbs.26-05-2025 06:36
