- Yes Jonas, you are getting old.Same as everybody else.
- I don't think road surface actually correlates well with dangerous roads. In SB, everyone takes care because of the gravel. This is supposed to be a regular sprint finish, and is raced like one. If there are too many corners in the final then yes, it is more dangerous than Strade Bianche - not because of the road surface but because of how it is raced. Chaotic sprint finishes are interesting for spectators but not for riders. That said, Jonas did complain about the gravel at the 2024 Tour de France

- good thing he didn't ride Strade Bianche - he would have really had something to complain about - dangerous roads - they're not even paved! I guess we won't see him on cobbles or at Roubaix LOL.
I look at old school pics of the TdF and other races, and the quality of the roads, and think what do these guy want? a perfectly straight, perfectly paved road?
- Jonas has lost a bit of his edge because he is older now.
- Great win by a great guy. Happy for him.

- One has to wonder is how much does the war in West Asia will affect the future of Gulf state teams. A catastrophe in the war on the Gulf States could see 4 teams unavailable to race the rest of the season.
- One has to wonder how the War in West Asia will affect the teams from the Gulf States.
If some catastrophic event causes full air closure, on top of the Hormuz getting closed will the four Gulf State teams be able to continue?
- yup thats what teams are looking at for the last few years when pogi is on the startlist LOL
