- Primož Roglič will be the best domestíque. In order to facilitate Pogačar's long range solo win, he will attack early to get rid of all of Team Slovenia's domestíques. Due to being such a valiantly hard working domestíque, he will pay for his selfless efforts and crack, so Pogačar can't use him anymore. This will mean that Pogačar will have to launch very early. In the chasing group behind, Roglič will have recovered. He'll disrupt the cooperation in the chase by attacking, in the form of long, powerful turns on the front. And of course Pogačar wants a challenge, he does not want it ti be easy, so Roglič will pull fir the chasers to do so.
Meanwhile, 20 year old Jakob Omrzel will be tge perfect domestíque
- Pogačar won two years, lost two years and won two years — will he lose this year?
- Pogačar to crash in a very rainy Roubaix, taking him out of the following races.
Disclaimer: nit limited to this year
- Oh you fool who doesn't understand anything, IF Pogi wins Flanders AND Roubaix, then yes... he will probably win all 5 Monuments. LBL and Lombardy are his races to lose. It will be tough, especially Roubaix, but Pogi is the Greatest Of All Time... maybe he can pull it off. CAPISH? CAPISH? CAPISH?
- It would literally be awesome if Pogi pivoted to CX and maybe won both the CX and Gravel world championships - just for a lark
- I think it is kind of an ironic joke. But seriously maybe he should go make babies with Urska. They'll probably be little superhumans.
- Finally, Remco is where he belongs, among the big boys, so he can see firsthand what it's like to watch records being broken at Kwaremont.
He'll have the best possible front row seat, completely free.
- So if he wins in Flanders he’s already won all 5? That’s what you are stating, if his win will make history. But it can’t. He can lose on Sunday, ending his bid at history, and it will take until Il Lombardia to do what you suggest. Don’t count your chickens before they roost. (can’t wait for you to @capiche me) (actually, I can)
- Clown boy making outrageous statements again.
- Guesdom with his gruesome wisdom... but I agree in that it would have been better for Wout to wait. Given how he dropped everyone he'd have had no problem with dropping both on the asphalt Nokereberg, the final climb. With Grègoire to assist him before then, he may have able to hold out for 200 m more to take the win.
None of this matters for Groupama-FDJ because Grègoire would've been caught anyway
