In an interview with RCN Televisión's "Buen día, Colombia" program,
Nairo Quintana shared details about his exciting new project. The athlete, a native of Tunja, expressed his enthusiasm about "Parche de Nairo", an establishment that aims to be a haven for bicycle lovers.
"We began to venture into the theme of restaurants, just in 10 days we opened the 'Nairo's Patch'. It is a specialized place for cyclists: it has showers, all the mechanics for the bicycle, sale of sportswear, food for all types of bicycle lovers," revealed Quintana.
The first location will be located near Bogotá, strategically located at the exit of the city. This strategic location will allow cyclists to come in, enjoy delicious food and also have access to essential services such as showers and maintenance for their bikes. Quintana envisioned this space as a versatile place for cycling families, where everyone can experience the passion for cycling and healthy food.
Regarding the culinary offer,
Nairo Quintana emphasized the variety and quality of the food: "We have tamales, fish broth, ribs. We vary the gastronomy also with all the recognition we have obtained on how to feed an athlete. This 'Nairo's Patch' is totally designed for cyclists of all levels".
