Tour of Britain has been a good experience for
Fernando Gaviria, quite the contrary. The Colombian,
Movistar Team rider failed to ride even one of the five sprints of the first five stages and in the sixth, to complete his most horrible week of the year, he crashed and broke his collarbone.
So, the rider from La Ceja had to abandon the British stage race and now he will try to recover. We do not know if he will race more for the rest of the season or if he will start preparing for the next one. The truth is that, after a promising start, it has not been a brilliant first year in Movistar for the Colombian sprinter.
