Enric Mas on his Vuelta chances: "It is difficult to face Jumbo's numerical superiority"

Enric Mas saw how on the Tourmalet the Jumbo-Visma imposed its strength and left him in the background. The Movistar Team rider tried without much conviction and ended up losing 40 seconds to the stage winner, Jonas Vingegaard, and a few seconds with the rest of the favorites: Sepp Kuss, Primoz Roglic and Juan Ayuso.
After the test, his conclusions were positive and he was already thinking about another very hard stage on Saturday that could still define the podium of a Vuelta a España that seems to be dominated by Jumbo but that still has room to turn things around:
"It's true that the three Jumbos have made a big difference, but the balance and the sensations are good. Although, we have to admit that it is difficult to face the numerical superiority of Jumbo. Tomorrow is a very important day and now it's time to rest".
