Danny Van Poppel takes stage 6 win as Jumbo-Visma were denied a stage win for the first time at the 2023 Tour of Britain.
Five riders formed the breakaway, but heading into the final 20km just two remained out in front of the peloton. With 15km to go however, they too were caught. Could Jumbo-Visma make it a perfect six stage wins out of six?
With 6.5km to go, Dimitri Peyskens of Bingoal WB launched a flyer although he was caught with 2.4km left before a mass crash saw half the peloton caught up. In the finale though, there was a photo finish needed to split Ethan Vernon and Danny Van Poppel with the BORA - hansgrohe man getting the win.
