Matteo Tosatto leaves after seven years as sports director of
INEOS Grenadiers. GCN journalist Daniel Benson reported this on social media. The 49-year-old Italian will reportedly switch to the ambitious Tudor Pro Cycling after this season.
Since his cycling retirement, Tosatto has been active as a team leader at Team Sky, which later transformed into
INEOS Grenadiers. Before that, Tosatto had raced for no less than twenty seasons, for Fassa Bortolo, Quick-Step-Innergetic, Saxo Bank and Tinkoff, among others. At the end of 2016, he ended his career with the latter team, in which he won a stage in the Tour and the Giro.
