Well, wider handlebars will at least keep riders safer from certain barrier feet at sprint finishes ;-)

Those barriers aren’t even newsworthy, nothing compared to the ones left over for amateur racing. Any rider going over those feet us way too close already, practically scraping forearms against publicity and definitely during the wobble of a sprint.

I wish a lot more people would think of (their) kids and not so much about what other adults might think of them doing so. Adults are overrated, anyone who’s had small kids knows that and ends up wondering how we manage to continue to fill the world with psychologist clients.

fun to see Quick-Step being Quick-Step again. just can’t believe they won’t be doing it on Specialized bikes next year. I think it is a miss for both.

> Sure, those type of barriers can pose a risk, but the riders were nowhere near the barriers when the crash occurred. No. It actually started from the (Bahrain Victourius? - on the very left in TV transmission - guy in green) rider who was pushed to the barriers and when you go frame by frame his rear wheel probably slipped on a barrier leg.

Wider handlebars and lower gear ratio will solve the problem. Is that true, UCI? IS IT?
