Stybar to test CX form at Ardooie, Sweeck and Hermans to start

Zdenek Stybar will be racing Cyclocross this winter and has been getting a lot of attention as he builds up towards his first World Cup race of the season. The former World Champion is making a return taking into consideration the success some of his peers have achieved.
The Czech rider returned to the off-road last week at the two Grand Prix Dohnany, in which the second round he has taken a win. To compare the competition is a tough call, but he has shown form ahead of Tabor, the only World Cup race to take place inside his home country.
With his eyes in Tabor, Stybar is looking to still test himself ahead of the big goal for the time being. A mid-week race, the Kermiscross Ardooie this Wednesday will provide a good opportunity to see where he will be amongst the field.
Many of the main figures will be missing, however Laurens Sweeck will be part of the race and should be the man to beat taking into consideration the form he's shown for the past few weeks. The race will also serve as a debut for Quinten Hermans in the season, whilst on the women's side Shirin van Anrooij and Zoe Bäckstedt will use the Belgian event for the same purpose.
