- as for zero facts, look at PFP, you can literally watch the crash and she told her entire story in an interview. the facts are there.
same with wout.
I’m not playing doctor, I’m stating this is very odd, which, statistically it is.
- he crashed in training before the race. in training. with the team. do you really think he treated himself? do you really think VLB allowed their lifetime contract rider to go home treat himself?
and if wout treated himself that is even more damning of the team, but let’s be honest he didn’t treat himself. look at how he was bandaged. do you think he did that on his own?
and yes the exact premise of what I’m saying is statistically this very odd. less than 1% of people with injuries get sepsis. while wout didn’t have sepsis, he was about there. that is what on would call statistically odd. and considering another rider, same team, prior year also had to have surgery due to an accident, just stating this is statistically a WTF situation.
- does anyone know if it was a full on tadej attack? I watched it. my take was Tadej didn’t mind the helper.
- Aren't you the Pogi public relations person so you should be the one to inform us! You're failing at your Pogi-fanboy flaming here!
- You have ZERO facts from either case! You're basing your arguments on statistics and not known facts!
Wout most likely treated himself after his initial crash and like most of us who crash often treat ourselves before seeking any medical attention for simple road rash ! I highly doubt he had a Visma doctor at his beckoning at his home base training area.
Maybe leave your Internet doctoring to the professionals.
- lol too funny.
- lol, shirtless behaviour damaged the image of the sports? UCI is petty. If anything, that may probably attract more viewers. He's casual and laid back.
- I mean, yes, he shouldn't be showing off that he never does upper body work, but a 500 CHF fine?
The UCI is ridiculous.
- Jarno certainly did give Seixas quite the thrashing at the Tour de l'Avenir last year, dropping him on both summit finishes. That fact is rather intriguing when you consider what the Frenchman has done since then. Widar is of course 20 cm shorter and 10 kg lighter, so he can be better as a pure climber (though Seixas has a bigger engine). There is also the reason that Seixas's teammate Maxime Decomble was in the yellow jersey, but that only explains why Seixas did not attack. So I think that Widar definitely has a very high ceiling climbing-wise. He does talk too much though, and seems genuinely insecure as a result of Seixas's success
- So desperate to have him there so someone will care about his race - sad
