Zoe Backstedt was the main name in the women's Junior World Championships time-trial event, and the British supertalent confirmed her status as the woman to beat as she rode to a dominant and uncontested win in Wollongong.
The Briton was the last rider to roll into the finish, and she took the win with a whole 1:36 minutes on the second placed rider. To put into context, over the 14 kilometers the 2nd and 26th placed were separated by the same difference. Justyna Czapla and Febe Jooris completed the remaining spots on the podium.
