The Netherlands came as big favourites for the Mixed Relay TTT today but had their luck stay elsewhere, as both riders in men's and women's teams have suffered mishaps.
Bauke Mollema suffered a mechanical few minutes into his effort in the men's side, however the women were forced to ride with only two riders instead of three as Annemiek van Vleuten crashed at the start of her effort due to a mechanical issue.
