Tom Dumoulin gets his own cycling race

Tom Dumoulin will get his own cycling race. The Grand Prix Tom Dumoulin will be ridden for the first time on June 10, 2023.

Each team consists of six riders from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The race competition will be for juniors and consist of two parts. The first part is a tough climb of 85 kilometres at the Tom Dumoulin Bikepark in Sittar.

The riders will get some time to rest before the second part begins. The second part will be a team time trial with a length of almost 20 kilometres in Buchten. The winner of the Grand Prix Dumoulin will be honoured afterwards by Dumoulin himself.

In addition, Dumoulin will assist the organisation in laying out the course.The Grand Prix Dumoulin is organised by the Bike Park Sittard-Geleen Foundation and Cycling Committee Buchten.
