The Colombian climb from Bahrain - Victorious is having a breakthrough week but with the queen stage currently on the road, he still has a mighty task at hand.
Before the stage he had this to say: "Today is the third stage, it is very important for the GC. There is a lot of wind and it's very important to be at all times in the front all together in the team. I'm really happy for the good job they did yesterday."
Yesterday Buitrago suffered in the crosswinds but the Bahrain squad managed to bring him back to the front. Today's stage is once again prone to such action, which won't be easy for the race leader.
"I hope we can animate the stage today, all together, the team has done an impressive work and we hope to finish it off in the best way and to keep this beautiful jersey".
