Remco Evenepoel rides pesonalized Liege-Bastogne-Liege in preparation for Tour de Suisse

Earlier this week, Remco Evenepoel went to Instagram to share his excitement about a ride he's just completed in home Belgium. There, he took on a 231 km route with over 4300 altitude meters, covering some of the most iconic climbs of monumental classic, the Liege-Bastogne-Liege, including Col de La Redoute, Roche-aux Faucons, Côte de Stockeu and Col du Rosier.

"As Remco returns after illness, we'll just take it day by day and see what he can do in the mountains, where he'll also have James to help him in addition to the other guys. For the flat stages, our man is Tim, who can count on Bert to guide him, so we're confident in our chances of getting some good results," team's sports director Geert Van Bondt said about plans for the race.

Evenepoel's big Ardennes ride was his last spin on home roads before heading out to Switzerland to compete in Tour de Suisse from June 11 to June 18.
