Although the Vuelta a Espana has finished, by no means does that mean the World Tour peloton will slow down, as this week there will be two stage-races and several classics taking place that will keep the riders on their toes. Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team are aiming high at both
Skoda Tour Luxembourg and
Tour de Slovaquie, as they revealed their lineups.
At Luxembourh the teams will be racing a long time-trial and four hilly days, in which the team will be seeking stage wins as they will be led by
Davide Ballerini and
Florian Sénéchal, who will not be focusing on the World Championships this year and will instead focus on the traditional European calendar.
Tim Declercq,
Stijn Steels and
Jannik Steimle will be riding in support of the duo.
In Slovakia however the situation will be different, as the goals will be higher. Mark Cavendish was on the early startlist, however once again he has been removed, hence seeing no return from the Manxman to competition. His compatriot
Ethan Vernon will take his position, with
Michael Morkov present to five the team better chances of going for the wins on the sprints.
