Erm, normally you fall because of someone IN FRONT, for sure a front wheel incident is far more critical than a back wheel issue or a side nudge so it’s actually pretty normal falls don’t happen in the front line but front behaviour does have repercussions further back. In amateur cycling front riders even still call out dangers for those behind who might not be able to see, not so sure with the pros.

Strange, can’t see your two posts about Mou, hope it’s only technical.

Plenty of amateurs are just waiting for them so there seems to be a market value in them, no excuse. That said, a friend who asked a developer about it got no reply so not sure how serious the whole sector is.

The crash never happens in tge first line where they're pushing. Plus, if you start braking there, you get overtaken by others and your GC guy has to start 100th, you don't have a choice if you want to do a good job for the team

The reason the story has grown is that there are almost no stories in cycling worth trying to turn into “news”.

Netcompany-X? Asking for trouble with Musk who will no doubt claim exclusivity on the marketing use of the letter X soon, especially as he doesn’t give a hoot about cycling. Only Yahoo would be worse, leading to a Net&Yahoo team just after IPT were silenced. Football doesn’t have these problems, in fact, very few sports.

For the complaining and excuses of why he didn't do well instead of saying "I just didn't have it". And the issues his wife (some say he knew she was going to do it) caused the whole team during the TDF and WVA in particular. Just let him walk and pick up a younger and better rider in Paul Seixas

I feel that the UCI needs to introduce some kind of safety airbags for cyclists similar to what is worn by skiers and protects their torso and vital organs in the event of a crash.
