Profile. On the 18th of May the riders take on the
Circuit de Wallonie, one of the many hilly classics that take place in the region over the year, and a return to Belgian racing after the Ardennes.
The Belgian race is, as always in the Ardennes, a hilly affair. A race made for the puncheurs, with a relatively calm first half but an explosive second part. It will be decided in a final circuit around Mont-sur-Marchienne, one that features a climb of 600 meters at 6.4% that will be ridden three times. The sprint won't be flat, the fast men will have good chances but the drag to the line will make it harder.
