Profile. One of the classics that are suited to the sprinters, the Veenendaal-Veenendal Classic provide an opportunity for the fast men on the 20th of May.
The race is suited to the sprinters but does feature a couple of hilltops where things could open up. The 171.5-kilometer race sees five laps of a circuit around Veenendaal. 500 meters at 7.4% and 400 meters at 4.8% in quick succession provide opportunity for attacks, however the remainder of the circuit is pan-flat and the sprinter teams should be able to keep control of everything.
