Nathan van Hooydonck's health situation is improving. After a huge scare for all of Jumbo-Visma and the cycling community yesterday, the Belgian seems to be recovering from the heart attack he suffered, and - now conscious - was moved - by Jonas Vingegaard's tribute after his Vuelta a Espana win.
"Nathan Van Hooydonck is communicating and doing well, considering the circumstances," Jumbo-Visma shared this morning on their social media. "He was very happy to hear that Jonas has won yesterday's stage in La Vuelta and moved deeply by the fact that he dedicated the victory to him."

“I am especially happy that I won today, because we received terrible news this morning," Vingegaard said after his dominant win in Bejes. “I wanted to win for my best friend. This victory is for him."
Van Hooydonck, a key part of Jumbo-Visma, has been a luxury domestique throughout this season within the Dutch team within the cobbled classics and the Tour de France, helping the team into it's soaring success, he is close to many of the peloton's most talented riders.
