The new UCI points update has been revealed, showing little differences as only the Tour de France constitutes meaningful new points awarded and the top teams have continued to swarm it's grand majority. However, as the rankings settle down, new targets become sensitive.
The constant fight for UCI points at the bottom of the list has made it that Team DSM - who are having a very complicated season are now less than 1200 points above the red line. Although Romain Bardet is currently in the Top10 of the Tour de France there are no guarantees that he will remain there, and the lack of points the team has had during the season has now put them in a position where they have to start thinking about their safety.
After months of comeback the Lotto Soudal locomotive has now slowed down, as they lost advantage to both Team BikeExchange - Jayco (193 points ahead) and Israel - Premier Tech (311 points behind) who have both won stages at the Tour with Dylan Groenewegen and Simon Clarke respectively. Two weeks of racing remain, however none of the teams have any riders in the fight for the GC so stage results are expected to be the major point source.
Movistar Team have Enric Mas sitting in eighth and EF Education-EasyPost have Neilson Powless sitting in ninth. The Spanish team are now entering their preferred part of the season where they are expected to rack up more points however they sit only ~600 points ahead of the red line. EF have lost their GC hope Rigoberto Uran, but are hoping Powless can survive and bring in crucial points.

Ranking actualizado a diario 👇
