The final stage of La Route d'Occitanie brought some drama as the flat stage into Auterive saw some strong wind causing chaos in the peloton, however with the main overall classification riders staying safe and Michael Woods taking the overall win. Niccolò Bonifazio won the stage.
The 188-kilometer long stage was expected to be calm, however it saw the GC riders move. Nevertheless a sprint couldn't be avoided, with TotalEnergies taking another win as Niccolò Bonifazio was the fastest in the final sprint. It was the Italian's first win of the season, beating Max Kanter and Matteo Moschetti in a very tight four-way sprint.
Despite the splits, Michael Woods managed to stay safe in the front group and delivered the overall win to Israel - Premier Tech. The Canadian has taken an important win for the team bringing in some UCI points, but also showing strong form ahead of the Tour de France.
