The Movistar Team has announced the seven-man team with which it will compete at the Tour de Suisse between, June 11 and 18. The Spanish-based team will face the tough Swiss test, which will have two time-trials and four mountain stages, with a team more well thought out for breaks.
In principle, despite the two time-trials, Movistar do not land in Switzerland with any specialists against the clock. Three men start with the stripes of trying to achieve something nice for the Navarrese team: Alex Aranburu, Oier Lazkano and Iván García Cortina.
Lazkano has shown to date to be a very dangerous rider and in Switzerland, he will have another golden opportunity to prove his quality. Cortina and Aranburu will chase their first victories of the year. Also, for the mountains, Gonzalo Serrano may be the most resistant man in the telephone team, so he will be the other weapon during the week. The team is completed by Lluis Mas, Mathias Norsgaard and Gorka Izagirre.
Movistar Team for the Tour de Suisse:
Alex Aranburu, Ivan Garcia Cortina, Oier Lazkano, Gonzalo Serrano, Mathias Norsgaard, Gorka Izagirre and Lluis Mas.
