Jumbo-Visma dismiss rumours of Primoz Roglic having Covid-19: "This bullsh*it is going around now for about a week"

Jumbo-Visma were hit by several cases of Covid-19 before the start of the Giro d'Italia. Somewhere along the way rumours began circulating on Primoz Roglic being infected, which prompted an emotional response from the team.

According to Daniel Benson, editor at GCN, a representative of the team has responded to the rumour saying that "This bullshit is going around now for about a week. It’s total nonsense." Tobias Foss, Robert Gesink and Jos van Emden were taken out of the race a week back, and currently an outbreak is starting the peloton with several riders - of other teams - testing positive.
