Jan Tratnik is reported to be in talks with Jumbo-Visma as the Dutch team eyes a contract for the Slovenian all-rounder. Tratnik is yet to sign a contract for 2023 after several seasons with Bahrain - Victorious, his future is at the moment unknown but more possibilities begin to emerge.
Het Nieuwsblad reports that Tratnik and Jumbo - Visma are in "advanced negotiations". He has gotten a free role in his current team over the last few years which has earned him wins at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de Romandie.
This season Tratnik has been having an impressive set of performances in the spring classics, as he's gone on to finish in the Top10 of Milano-Sanremo and Dwars door Vlaanderen, alongside 12th place in both Tour des Flandres and Amstel Gold Race. With his recent classics potential uncovered, the Dutch team has reported interest in bolstering their already strong classics squad.
