After Florian Sénéchal took the win in the road race at the French National Championships in 2022, his time wearing the tricolor could be running out.
"Every time I'm in France, it's impressive," the Soudal - Quick-Step rider, who edged out the likes of Anthony Turgis and Axel Zingle for the win last year, tells the French newspaper, L'Equipe. "It's really a special jersey and it makes you want to wear it a second time in the future."
Senechal admits disappointment at his failure to really kick on after his victory at the National Championships last year and the 29-year-old believes this could be a second chance at progressing his career and going to the next level.
"I've been stagnant for two years, it's time to take another step for the third part of my career," he continues. "I'm not at the end of my limits, I want to go until my body says stop"
