The 2025
Tour de France will be the biggest and most important race of the season and will be taking place between the 5th and 27th of July. This is the sport's climax of the season and every year it delivers memorable action. We take a look at how all the
prize money will be distributed.
The total prize money for the 2025 Tour de France is of €2.305.250 million euros which comes together as the sum of all classifications and stage results - with over €270.000 also being given to rider unions. The winner of the overall classification takes home €500.000 whilst each stage winner wins €11.000, with the first 20 riders across the line and in the GC each day take some sort of financial reward. The winners of the points and KOM classifications win €25.000.

Intermediate sprints will give €1500, €1000 and €500 respectively for the first three spots.
On all 19 non-time-trial stages, there will be a €2000 prize for the combativity award. The race's 'super combatif' will receive €20.000 at the end of the Tour.
The first rider over the Col du Tourmalet (stage 14) and Col de la Loze (stage 18) will receive €5000.
The organization will choose a 'best teammate' of the race and award him €3000. Each week, €2000 will be awarded to the 'best teammate'.
The first rider to reach 50 KOM points will receive €5000.
