INEOS hunt stages at Critérium du Dauphiné as GC block opts to ride alternatives

INEOS Grenadiers have been one of the first teams to announce their lineup to the Critérium du Dauphiné, and their ambitions appear to be stage hunting as their GC leaders opt to prepare at the Tour de Suisse.

They do however have serious chances of winning in France. Filippo Ganna will be at the start and surely with his eyes on the ITT and the yellow jersey, aswell as Ethan Hayter who will also have plenty opportunities in the hilly stages that are likely to end in a sprint. No big GC ambitions means the team may focus on Hayter's ambitions more than they otherwise would've.

They will have Tao Geoghegan Hart and Eddie Dunbar who can fight for the Top10 in the GC, and Michal Kwiatkowski aswell who may opt that way if he's got the form, as the TT will favour him. All of them however may have have a free role to target wins in the mountains.

The team is completed by road captain Andrey Amador and also the Belgian Laurens de Plus who is looking to come back to his best form which he's struggled to reach ever since joining the British team.

INEOS Grenadiers for Critérium du Dauphiné: Andrey Amador, Laurens De Plus, Eddie Dunbar, Filippo Ganna, Tao Geoghegan Hart, Ethan Hayter and Michal Kwiatkowski.
