Bahrain - Victorious have over the last year been one of the most successful stage-racing teams, and they are heading to the Critérium du Dauphiné with big ambitions as they gear up for the Tour de France.
"A lot of guys are coming back from a period of preparation doing altitude and specific training. With
Jack Haig the GC leader going really well, and
Damiano Caruso the same, they’ll be supported by the rest of the team, and the guys are all looking forward to the challenge," said Neil Stephens, Bahrain's DS this coming week. The duo finished third at the Vuelta a España and second at the Giro d'Italia last year, and this year they join efforts to target the GC at the Tour de France - alongside Gino Mäder who will be racing at the Tour de Suisse.
