"I did surprise myself. Especially yesterday" - Lotte Kopecky shocked to finish second overall

Lotte Kopecky finished second in the Tour de France Femmes. The Belgian SD Worx rider rode to third place in the final time trial on the last day, which made her rise to the final podium. Kopecky asures that she definitely didn't expect it.

"I did surprise myself. Especially yesterday," Kopecky said afterwards in the flash interview. "This week has been more than I ever imagined. It has been crazy to ride the entire Tour in yellow and today we also win the Tour with Demi. It couldn't have been more perfect."

"Whether this was my best time trial ever? I do not know. I had drawn up a very good pace plan with Loïc Segaert and I was able to put a lot of power on my legs. I didn't expect that after yesterday," the Belgian time trial champion continued. "It was exciting, but it worked. Incredible."
